I am a Los Angeles-based pet photographer. I have always had an affinity toward animals and grew up with an array of pets, including cats, dogs, rabbits, goats, chickens, and a hamster. I often photographed my animals, but it wasn't until December 2014, when I adopted a kitten that I named Imogen and subsequently began volunteering at the West Los Angeles Animal Shelter, that I fell in love with pet photography and began pursuing it professionally. Now I photograph cats and dogs at animal shelters and rescue groups throughout Los Angeles and I created The Black Cat Project and The Beauty of Blind Cats, which garnered worldwide attention. While I love photographing pets, my passion is photographing animals to help them find a home. I strongly believe that photography is a critical part of the adoption process and I am proud to be able to volunteer my time and my talent to animals in need. The best feeling in the world is when someone tells me they adopted a certain animal because they saw one of the photos I had taken of them. Being able to help give animals the lives they deserve is EVERYTHING.
